Three astronauts visit Ambassador Tsuneo Nishida and Mrs. Keiko Nishida
Dr. Koichi Wakata (Japan), Dr. Robert Thirsk (Canada) and Mr. Frank De Winne (Belgium) visited Ambassador Tsuneo Nishida and Mrs. Keiko Nishida on May 11th, on the occasion of the post flight tour to Ottawa, organized by the Canadian Space Agency.
The three astronauts stayed in the International Space Station (ISS) together for some months in 2009 to conduct scientific research and to develop the ISS.
The ISS project is an international cooperative project in which Japan, Canada, the United States, Russia, and 11 European countries participate. Japan and Canada promote their partnership not only on Earth but also in space.
