Open Door to Asia : Asian Heritage Month – May 2010

As part of Asian Heritage Month 2010, Open Door to Asia was held on Sunday, May 23rd at Gatineau City Hall . After a brief welcome from organizers and Gatineau mayor Marc Bureau, guests visited displays, sampled Asian delicacies, and were entertained with a variety of Asian dance, song and music. Duo Yusa, a musical duo from Montreal performed a variety of traditional Japanese music on both the flute and the Japanese shamisen.
