School Visit Programme: Bring Japan to your Classroom (or vice-versa!)

The Embassy of Japan is pleased to offer classroom visits to schools in the National Capital Region under our School Visit Programme.

  • Students can learn about Japan and experience Japanese culture first-hand.
  • Embassy staff members come directly to your school with interactive materials. Alternatively, a school visit to the embassy auditorium is also possible, depending on our availability.*
  • The programme covers grades 5 and up.
  • This programme is provided for free by the Embassy of Japan in Canada.

To request a visit, please download and fill out this application form and send it to infocul@ot.mofa.go.jp.

We would appreciate it if you could make your request at least a month in advance of when you would like the visit so that we can best accommodate you.

* Please note that school visits to the embassy are not tours of the embassy. School visits would be limited to the embassy auditorium and Information and Culture Centre. Use of the embassy auditorium is subject to availability.

If you have any further questions, please email infocul@ot.mofa.go.jp.
