Description:


The Embassy of Japan offers free presentations (in English and French) on Japanese culture to Grades 4, 5 and 6 students in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. The objective of this outreach program is to build a better understanding and interest in Japan. The topics touched upon include Japan's geography, lifestyle and language. The program is designed to be educational and fun, as we include workshops on origami paperfolding and writing Japanese characters.


Start time of presentations:

Tuesdays to Fridays between 10am to 2pm (Exact time to be confirmed)


Duration:

From 45 minutes to 75 minutes

Please contact us by email at infocul@ot.mofa.go.jp and provide the following information:

 

- Teacher's name and contact information

- School's address

- Grade level of students (4,5 or 6)

- Number of students

- Availability of a blackboard, TV and DVD player

- Date and time availability

- Length of presentation
