What happens after the interviews?
Once the interviews are finished, interview letters will be mailed to the location indicated in your application (or as per address changes provided to JET Programme personnel). If you have recently moved and have not informed the JET Desk at the Embassy or Consulates General of Japan at which you interviewed, please do so immediately.
The letter will either indicate that you have been placed on the Short or Alternate Lists for participation in the 2010 JET Programme or that, regretably, you were not offered a place.
Letters will be sent in early April, although the exact date will vary from location to location. A notification will be posted on this site once letters have been mailed from a particular location, as well as a "receive by" date advising you to contact your local JET Desk if a letter has not arrived by that point.
Web page address changes
Changes have been made to certain file names for the JET Canada website, which may result in bookmarked pages no longer being active. The homepage address has not changed (www.ca.emb-japan.go.jp/jetcanada.html) and can be used to access required pages for re-linking. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
