2020/10/15
Under our School Visit Program, The Embassy of Japan’s Information and Culture Centre is now pleased to offer virtual classroom visits to schools/students in the National Capital Region via Zoom.
  • Students can learn about Japan
  • Experienced Embassy staff members will prepare a customized interactive presentation tailored for the students ages and background
  • Customized presentations on any topic (art, food, history, language, culture, diplomacy, etc.)!
  • The program covers grades 5 and up
  • Offered in English or French
  • This program is provided for free by the Embassy of Japan in Canada

To request a visit please send an email to infocul@ot.mofa.go.jp including all relevant information such as preferred date and time, topic, age and number of students, etc.

We would appreciate it if you could make your request as far in advance as possible so that we can best accommodate your request.

* The Virtual School Visit Program is a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to a return to our regular in-person visits (either to your school or at the Embassy of Japan’s auditorium) when it is safe to do so.

Please note that school visits to the embassy are not tours of the embassy. School visits would be limited to the embassy auditorium and Information and Culture Centre. Use of the embassy auditorium is subject to availability.

If you have any further questions, please email infocul@ot.mofa.go.jp.
