Ambassador Yamanouchi's Official Visit to Nova Scotia

Ambassador YAMANOUCHI Kanji paid an official visit to Nova Scotia from July 9 to July 10.

In Halifax, Ambassador Yamanouchi met with the Honourable Tim Houston, Premier of Nova Scotia, His Honour The Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and the Deputy Speakers of the Legislative House of Assembly, Ms. Danielle Barkhouse, Mr. Nolan Young, and Ms. Lisa Lachance.

During these meetings, they exchanged a wide range of views on strengthening economic relations between Japan and Nova Scotia and promoting people to people exchange through the JET Program.
 
They also visited Pier 21 (Canadian Museum of Immigration).
