School Visit Program: Bring Japan to your Classroom

Under our School Visit Program, The Embassy of Japan’s Information and Culture Centre is pleased to offer in-person classroom visits to schools/students in the National Capital Region.
 
The School Visit Program offers:
 

  • Information about Japan through customized interactive presentation tailored for the students ages and background;
  • Presentations on any Japan-related topic (art, food, history, language, culture, etc.);
  • Visits at no cost to your school or at the embassy’s auditorium (transportation to the embassy not provided) ;
  • Content for grades 5 and up;
  • Presentations in English or French.

 
To request a visit please send the School Visit Program Request Form by email to infocul@ot.mofa.go.jp. Please be sure to include all relevant information such as preferred date and time, topic, age and number of students, etc. 

We would appreciate it if you could make your request as far in advance as possible so that we can best accommodate your needs. Online sessions may be arranged upon request.
 
Please note that school visits to the embassy are not tours of the embassy. School visits would be limited to the embassy auditorium and the Information and Culture Centre. Use of the embassy auditorium is subject to availability.
 
The program may be unavailable at certain periods due to large number of requests.
