Lecture: Dr. Matsuda Yasuhiro on Sino-Japanese Relations

On January 24th Carleton University and the Embassy of Japan jointly held a lecture event titled “The Prospects for Improved Sino-Japanese Relations Following the 19th Party Congress” at Carleton University. The lecture was given by Dr. Matsuda Yasuhiro, professor of international politics at the University of Tokyo, Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia.

Dr. Matsuda spoke on the current China-Japan relations through the analysis of the economic, political and security situation surrounding the two countries. There was a lively question and answer period following the presentation.
