Ambassador Ishikawa's Arrival Reception

 

The arrival reception of Ambassador Kaoru Ishikawa was held at the Chateau Laurier Hotel on October 13, 2010 with more than 350 guests including politicians, government officials, businessmen, academics, mass-media and representatives of Japanese communities.

Ambassador Ishikawa, in his greeting, expressed his impression that Canada is a country of good balance through seeking and preserving multiculturalism and through its fiscal and financial policy. He also mentioned that both Japan and Canada believe that freedom, democracy, human rights, the rule of law and the market economy can contribute to build a better world.
