Minister of Justice, Yoko Kamikawa visits Ottawa
On May 4th, Japanese Minister of Justice, Yoko Kamikawa visited Ottawa to discuss several topics including immigration policy, counter-terrorism measures, and policy for victims of crimes, with Canada’s federal government officials.
Minister Kamikawa met with the Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, the Honourable Chris Alexander, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, and visited the Supreme Court of Canada, Parliament Hill and a facility of the Canada Border Services Agency.
