Ambassador Monji visits Ottawa Comiccon 2016

 

On May 13th 2016, Ambassador Monji visited the Ottawa Comiccon, an annual convention with focus on comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and games, held at the EY Center.

Ambassador Monji had the opportunity to explore many of the programmed activities with Ottawa Comiccon co-founder Ms. Elizabeth Jutras and Vice-President of Operations Mr. Scott Péron. He seized the opportunity to interact with enthusiastic cosplayers and tour the many booths selling memorabilia iconic of the geek culture.

The fifth edition of Ottawa Comiccon proved once more that the nation’s capital embraces the geek culture with over 42,000 visitors attending the convention over 3 days.
